A short conversation costs nothing.
Wasted process time does.

Tell us about one process that feels heavier than it should be. We'll listen carefully and suggest a practical starting point — no commitment needed.

Why Tesserae

Built for steady, durable progress

Scoped, not sprawling

Each engagement has clear boundaries. You know what's included, how long it runs and what you will receive at the end.

Your team learns as we work

We work alongside your people rather than handing over a report. The thinking transfers during the work, not in a final presentation.

Measures that matter

We focus on simple, meaningful measures — cycle time, rework rate, waiting — rather than dashboards that no one uses after week two.

Low disruption by design

Improvements are tested in small steps. We do not ask teams to stop what they're doing in order to improve how they're doing it.

Grounded in Malaysian context

We work with local firms across Selangor and the Klang Valley. Our approach fits the pace and culture of Malaysian business teams.

No jargon, no theatre

Lean thinking does not require a room full of sticky notes or an elaborate certification wall. We keep things plain and focused on the actual work.

Common questions

Things people often ask us

Do we need to have lean experience before working with Tesserae?
No prior knowledge is needed. We start from wherever your team is. If the concepts are new, we explain them plainly as part of the work. Many of our best engagements have been with teams who simply noticed their process was slower or more effortful than it needed to be.
How much of our team's time will be involved?
It varies by engagement. For a Process Waste Review, we typically need a few hours of observation and one or two short conversations with the people doing the work. For the coaching and advisory engagements, the involvement is more regular — but always structured around your team's actual schedule, not an arbitrary timetable we impose.
What kinds of businesses do you typically work with?
Mostly small and mid-size businesses across manufacturing, logistics, professional services and administration in the Klang Valley and Selangor. The common thread is a team that wants to work more smoothly without a complete overhaul — incremental, considered improvement rather than a large change project.
What will we actually receive at the end of each engagement?
For the Process Waste Review you receive a value-stream sketch, a written findings note and a review session. For the coaching engagement you receive a project plan, documentation of changes tested and a results review. For the advisory programme, scheduled reviews, coaching sessions and a handover pack. Nothing is vague — the deliverables are agreed before we start.
How are the fees structured — are there additional costs?
The prices shown cover the full engagement as described. Travel within the Klang Valley is included. If your site is further afield, we discuss any travel arrangements openly before signing anything. We do not add charges after the engagement begins without your prior agreement.
Can we start with a small review and then expand the work?
Yes, many firms begin with a Process Waste Review to understand what's actually happening before committing to a longer engagement. We treat each piece of work as complete in itself — there is no obligation to continue, though of course we are glad to if the fit is good.
